Unofficial, independent launch companion

Start with the Avatar Legends Fighting Game Basics

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is easier to approach when the first tasks are clear. Use this limited launch guide to understand the available controls evidence, review the 12 launch roster slots, set up a community-reported WASD workaround, and check the status of player-reported Combo Trial issues.

This is not a move database or a substitute for the game’s own instructions. Every section tells you what kind of source supports it and when that source was last checked.

Controls, roster names, WASD safeguards, and report status—each with its source level.

Choose the task in front of you

You do not need to read everything in order. Start with the problem you are trying to solve now.

01 / TASK

Learn what the control sources can support

Get a plain-English overview of the A, B, C, and Flow button framework shown in cited materials. The page separates current launch information from pre-release details and does not pretend to offer a full current-build command or action map.

Read the Controls Guide →
02 / TASK

Use WASD for movement with a manual workaround

If in-game movement remapping is not available on your setup, follow a cautious community workaround for data/button_config.ini. Close the game, make a backup, change only the four direction mappings, and keep a clear restore path.

Follow the WASD Steps →
03 / TASK

Review the launch roster without invented profiles

See the 10 names shown in first-party launch materials and two community-confirmed unlockable-name candidates. Candidate labels remain visibly separate because a first-party Character Select label capture is still pending.

Check Combo Trial report status

Read what players reported about selected Sokka and Avatar Aang Combo Trials. These entries are dated player reports, not patch-note confirmations, fixes, or reproducible combo routes.

Know what this launch reference does not claim

The current site does not publish move lists, combo routes, character builds, Flow drills, frame data, matchup advice, rankings, or device-wide compatibility claims. Those subjects need stronger current-build evidence and independent reproduction before they can become public data pages.

That narrow scope is intentional. A short source-labeled answer is more useful than a large page built from guesses, old-build footage, or repeated community claims.

How source labels work

Official/current source

Official/current source means a current public page controlled by a relevant publisher, developer, platform, or game operator. It supports only the specific fact cited.

Pre-release source

Pre-release source means an alpha, beta, preview, or older-build source. It may not describe current behavior.

Current player report

Current player report means a dated public observation from a player. It is not a patch note or a promise of a fix.

Candidate

Candidate means a label or claim supported by limited or indirect evidence while stronger confirmation is still missing.

Last checked

The date or timestamp when the source was reviewed.

A public link is evidence to review. It does not automatically make a claim current, complete, accurate, or available for republication.

A practical first visit

  1. Open Controls for the limited button-framework overview.
  2. Use Keyboard WASD only if you understand the backup and restore steps.
  3. Open Roster to check names and evidence status.
  4. Review Combo Trials before treating a player-reported issue as a game-wide fact.
  5. Use Sources whenever you want the underlying public link and last-checked time.

Evidence last checked July 24, 2026 at 00:35:55 UTC. A newer patch may change game behavior.

FAQ

Is avatarlegends.app affiliated with the game’s publishers or developers?

No. avatarlegends.app is an unofficial, independent companion and is not affiliated with Paramount, Nickelodeon, Gameplay Group International, PM Studios, or Skydance Games.

Does this site include move lists, combo routes, or frame data?

No. The Fast MVP is a limited launch reference for controls, a keyboard workaround, roster names, Combo Trial report status, and sources. Data-heavy gameplay pages remain closed until stronger current-build evidence and independent reproduction are available.

Why are some roster names marked as candidates?

Two unlockable names are supported by cross-checked community sources, but a first-party Character Select label capture is still missing. The candidate label keeps that evidence limit visible.

How recently was the launch evidence checked?

The post-unlock public source set used by this copy was last checked on July 24, 2026 at 00:35:55 UTC. Each evidence-sensitive page repeats its applicable status and timestamp.
