Aang Guide
Aang is the clearest first learning pick because first-party Controls, Support, and Flow tutorials repeatedly use him to demonstrate the game system.

Who is Aang in the roster?
Aang is the base launch-roster airbender slot. Keep him separate from the unlockable Avatar Aang variant when comparing commands, Trials, or tier placement.
Use Aang when your priority is learning movement and the relationship between a main fighter, Flow, and a support call before chasing maximum damage.
What tools can the public sources confirm?
First-party tutorial posts use Aang as a system demonstration fighter.
A current public combo guide exists, but this site has not independently reproduced its routes.
Moves & Inputs
Capture pending. A current-build Training command-list screenshot has not yet been obtained for Aang. Use the in-game command list as the authoritative source; this skeleton does not invent move names or inputs.
| Input group | Status | Current action |
|---|---|---|
| Normals | Capture pending | Check Training → Command List |
| Specials | Capture pending | Check Training → Command List |
| Flow / Super | Capture pending | Check Training → Command List |
A first-session Aang practice route
- 1
Repeat normal movement and Flow with the input display visible.
- 2
Add one normal button after a repeatable movement route.
- 3
Watch the current in-game Trial Demo before opening a player combo guide.
Keep the Training input history visible. If a route uses a support, resource, corner position, or variant that does not match your setup, stop and correct the state before changing the timing.
Aang combo and Trial references
These links are study references, not proof that every displayed route still works in every build. Match the character, support, resource, position, and Trial name before practicing.
Where are the text BnBs?
Exact BnB notation requires a current-build reference that shows every input, support, resource, and position. A video title alone is not enough to produce a reliable command string.
How should you test Aang matchups?
There is not yet a source-backed win-rate or matchup chart for all 12 launch slots. Use these character-specific questions as a Training and replay checklist:
- Can the opponent stop the approach before Aang reaches his preferred range?
- Which movement leaves Aang close enough to act without overextending?
- Does the selected support cover the space the opponent is escaping through?
A matchup answer belongs here only after the opposing character, support, patch, range, resource state, and defensive response are stated.
Current command and frame-data method
- Open Training with Aang and enable input history.
- Open the current command list and record the exact button labels for your device.
- Use the Training frame-data display named in the current Steam description.
- Test the same move from the same position at least twice before recording a value.
This page does not backfill numbers from animation length, an old alpha video, or another fighter with the same element.
Sources and evidence limits
No current first-party command table, matchup chart, or numeric frame table is available.
